Why is donating funds important?
Funds allow Philabundance to purchase the most needed items for our clients. Because we are able to purchase food at wholesale prices, we can stretch a dollar further than if purchased at retail. Every $1 donated helps provide 2 meals to someone in need.

Does my money actually purchase the food I put in my virtual shopping cart?
A virtual food drive is a fun, creative way to raise money for Philabundance. The food though is only a representation of what your money could purchase, based on a list of the most needed food items for Philabundance. All money raised through your virtual food drive goes into our Food Fund which allows us to purchase the most needed items for our clients.
I have a colleague who also wants to raise money, how do they join my team?
Click the Find a Drive button, located on the toolbar above, enter the name of the participant or team you are searching for, click on their page and click ‘Join Team.’
Do gifts to the virtual food drive qualify for matching funds from my employer?
All gifts to the virtual food drive qualify for matching contributions from participating corporations and organizations. Please use the widget below to see if your employer participates so that we can double or even triple the impact of your gift! How do I see how much has been raised so far?
Check out the thermometer on your individual or team page to see how close you are to your fundraising goal!
Can I make changes to my page after I’ve finished registering?
Yes. You will receive an automatic email after you register your drive. The email will include information on logging into your participant center. When you log in to your account, you will be able to make edits to your page.
How do I share my page with my friends and family?
Copy the URL (ctrl + C) at the top of your individual or team page and send the link out to your network via email, Facebook, text message or however you would like!
Will I be notified when someone donates?
Yes. You will receive an automatic email when someone makes a donation on your page.
Who should I contact if I have questions?

When I am on my page, it says “Welcome, ______.” Will that show up for everyone? I don’t want everyone to see my name.
This won’t show up for everyone. It only shows your name because you are currently logged into your account.
How do I edit my personal page?
Click on participant center at the very top of the page, in the righthand corner. Scroll down until you see a section called “Personal Page.” Here you can add a title, a blurb, and a logo to your page.
When does my page become active?
It becomes active right away. However, no one can see your page until you provide them with the link.
Why is my logo cut off?
The picture on your page must be 300x400 pixels, otherwise it will not show up correctly.
When I try to donate without shopping, it says “Please enter your gift to Philabundance Virtual Food Drives on behalf of[your name].” How can I get this to show my company name instead of my own?
To resolve this, go to the participant center and click on “profile.” From here you can change your first and last name to the name of your company.
Why does it say I am a team captain?
You have chosen to start a team rather than registering as an individual. If you would prefer to not have your name appear on the page, you can go to the participant center and click on “profile.” From here you can change your first and last name to the name of your company.
