Every year around the holidays, GBLI partners with Philabundance to combat hunger and bring nourishment and hope to those in need in the Delaware Valley. This year, at the request of our CEO, Jay Brown, we are starting that tradition today due to the impact of the ongoing federal government shutdown.

To quote Jay Brown:

"As many of you know, GBLI has a long partnership with Philabundance, one of our local food banks. A significant impact of the Government shutdown is that programs like SNAP, which help to support nearly 40 million families, will run out of funds on Friday. As such, we?re moving up the timing of our annual appeal."

We are announcing two matching gift challenges: GBLI?s Charitable Giving Committee and The Brown Family Foundation will both match every dollar contributed, up to $5,000 each.
