Location and Parking
Hunger Relief Center, 3616 S. Galloway St., Philadelphia, PA 19148.
Please use the Volunteer Lot, located south of the main entrance.
Attire
Face mask, closed-toe shoes, casual clothes you can work in.
Additional Details
Volunteers will help sort and pack non-perishable food items for distribution to senior citizens across Philadelphia and Delaware counties. Prior to the start of the shift, donors will have the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about our work, including how we receive, store and move food. Handcrafted takeout dinners from PCKatering, Philabundance's social enterprise, will be served as volunteers depart after their shift ends.
All guests must agree to a temperature check upon arrival and may be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding possible COVID exposure.
Philabundance follows guidelines set forth by the CDC and the City of Philadelphia. We will provide masks, hand sanitizer and ensure there is space to adhere to strict social distancing while on the premises. Our facilities are disinfected frequently throughout the day.
